I use the following process with my clients:
What are your goals?
What are you trying to accomplish?
What is the main issue you’re having with your business?
I listen: I make notes
Where are you now?
What resources and methods are your already working with?
Where do you want help?
I listen : I make notes
I ask more specific questions about what I’ve been told.
I ask questions relating to what I can do to help.
We have fun. (Developing a business or improving a current one should be an exciting and enjoyable process. If it’s not, one should remember what they love doing most and start doing it.)
This is the phase that we set some guidelines (what you do and don’t want to do).
We determine thing like:
- Time frames
- Who might be involved. What they capable of doing
- How you would like this (project / whatever) to take place
- How involved you want to be in the project
- Your favorite color, etc
Development / Design
We develop actionable goals.
